A little business and a little fun!!

I had the privilege of making this little KSU outfit for this beautiful newborn.  Moments like these are why I love what I do and take the time to personalize each order!

Yep...another cake.  I love having friends that trust me enough to do their kiddos cakes!  I really do enjoy doing this and I am starting to understand and learn things that can only be learned by practicing.  I was really happy about how this one turned out!  Happy Birthday Karli!!

A little turkey....

I rarely do any embroidering for myself....until I found this turkey.  He really had material for his wings but I thought it would be fun to add some ribbon.  Since I don't have any little girls to make this for I put it on my kitchen tea towel.  I love seeing him in my kitchen.

My little turkey has a cold...so yes, we use Children's Mucinex for 6 year olds!  I was told by our ENT when Logan was one that this was a great med for clearing up that runny nose and helped clear his sinuses.  And for Logan that was  a big deal because any time he got a cold, an ear infection followed.  So when we started the Mucinex, at his correct dose, we never had an ear infection again.  It seems to dry him up.  So we do the same thing for our other little turkey!  He has been sick this week and boy does it make a TON of difference for him when we give him a little meds!  Thank you doc for the helpful advice, although it cut back on us visiting you and paying  your bills! ;)

Christmas is coming....

I have slowly started working on Christmas shirts!  I love this time of year and all the the new designs that come out!  Get your orders in soon.  I am going to take December off!!

A fun little order from a good friend of mine!  I love it when she lets me just design the shirts, especially since I don't have girls!

Back Home...

So I made it back home October 7th from fall harvest.  I just realized the last time I blogged was the day before I left.  Since I have returned I have finished over 50 Abbie's Creations orders, made it to two Adult Halloween parties (which were awesome by the way), hit a pumpkin patch with the kiddos, and finally ended this weekend with a fun filled Carnival Birthday party for Logan and Brecken's little girlfriends Tatum and  Tailia.  Although I DO NOT do cakes, I do them once in a while for friends.  I was honored to do the girls cupcakes and cake.  I have to say I did do their shirts as well....but notice there is not one picture of that!!  Some how I missed getting a picure of the girls.  Hopfully I will find one on someone elses camera.  Any way, it has been a busy, busy couple of weeks.  I am looking forward to some down time with the boys, Logan's birthday coming up, and may be another cake or two in the near future!!  Happy Sunday everyone!!  Enjoy the day with your family....we're heading to Boo At the Zoo!!

Oh and I have to add....the Carnival party was AMAZING!!!  Tindall you know how to do it girlfriend.

Silly Brecken

So my little Brecken decided to pick me flowers this morning!  I couldn't be mad because it was to funny.  Guess it is a good thing I know where to get another one of these.  Sad thing is, we just planted them this summer!!  Oh well....such is life!  Love you silly Brecken!!

Adding to my great finds....

The boys have had a marble jar for a long time.  However, to fill that jar it takes time.  So today while Logan was in school, Brecken and I headed over to "Shabby to Sheek" and found these great little jars for each of the boys.  Then we ran over to Kinkos and had our prize cards laminated.  A great way to start the school year.  Once there little jars are full, they then get to dump them into a bigger jar.  And once full, they will be rewarded greatly!!

I found this chalkboard/magnet board and lets just say I was jumping with joy!  I have been wanting a calendar like this for a long, long time.  I had to order special striping to make the calendar part and I added silver glitter letters for the days!  I hope to find fun stickers and make them into magnets for each month.  I am so happy I ended up making this one on my own, because the ones I have found on etsy are going for twice what I paid for this gem!  Notice the knob holding the cork board, that is from my parents first house they built.  They had those on their kitchen cabinets!!  Thought it was kind of fun it fits into my theme in my laundry room!

Okay...so I have added this canning crock to my collection....not sure what I am going to do with it yet, but I have always liked them.  Just don't think they really fit well into my style of house! Notice, Derrick already snagged one for woodworking!!  I'm claiming the new one as he doesn't need two!

I can't get over how beautiful these flowers are.  My parents brought them up for me this past weekend.  They fit right in with all my Halloween decorations.  They are a purple/pink color and I add lots of purple to my Halloween decor!

Finished up a few project during nap time.  A sweet little hanging bag and a tote full of soccer bags!!
