Weekend Fun

So my other passion besides embroidering and photography is baking!  I have done a lot of it lately.  Derrick has actually asked me to stop baking!! Mmmm.....anyone want some baked goods??  This cake was for a very special little girl who I adore!  She celebrated her first birthday with family and friends this past weekend.  Happy 1st Birthday Taizley!!

An Easter order for a very cute little girl!

Here is another giveaway item won from a business that I was featured on!  Yay!!  Love giveaways.

I hope this wonderful weather is finding you all happy and healthy!  Go outside and play friends!

KSU Birthday....cake that is!!

Wanted to thank a very talented lady.  I knew I wouldn't have time, nor did I think I could actually make these special add ons for my cake, so I found Sweet Petal Bakery!  She did a great job!  Here is her blog post:  http://sweetpetalbakery.blogspot.com/2011/02/ksu-inspired-sports-birthday-party.html

Charlie's 1st Birthday

What a great job this mommy did for her little ones 1st Birthday!  An Owl Themed party was perfect for little Charlie.  You ask why I am posting this....well I made his little cake and cupcakes, along with his party hat and boxers.  It has been so much fun watching this little man during his first year.  From crazy hair to silly smiles....he is a gem!  I was honored to help with his celebration!

Look at that cute tummy!  I love baby bellies!

First Snow & Baby B's Shower

First big snow!  Boys were sick, but I let them out for 10 minutes!!

Baby B's Shower cake!  Oh how I have been waiting for this day!  I can't wait to meet him!

Before I cleaned the cake off.....when you roll fondant and it is colored you have to use corn starch so it won't stick to the countertop!

Mamma Stace!  Look how cute she is!

Derrick made me draw a face on the baby!  And then the baby got ate....you would have to know the entire story to appreciate who ate it!!  Love you Jill!

During our big snow Logan and I made mice and cheese for his classmates for school!  We had a great time!
