Catching up...

Okay...so I have had a busy past couple of days. I am relieved that it is over, and so excited to get all my clients their orders. It is so much fun seeing the final product of creations that my clients help me design!

So now I am off to play outside with the boys....well that is when they wake up!

1st Birthday for Triplets!!

Gift Idea

Made this for a client who wanted a handmade baby gift. The set includes a brown knitted hat from A Little Knitting and a set of my "Lo-B" burps to match. Although I do not carry this on my Abbie's Creations site please feel free to request special made gifts.

Aprons

So these are one of the cute little items I have working on lately. Carisa will be selling these for me at her sale towards the end of April. She has the adult sizes, but I will soon be adding toddler sizes to the collection. These will be a great matching gift set for a mom/daughter event!

Hobbies

So I use to say that my only true hobby was singing. Back in the day I did a lot of it, but with two little boys it seems I am unable to find the time to get away. As for singing takes practices and rehearsals, and time away from my boys. I do still sing to my boys every day and they seem to enjoy it. Brecken has started to sing right along with me.

On another note, I can say I have new hobbies now. Not that I have time for them all but I do fit them in once in a while. This week I was able to do a little cake decorating, and actually am proud to say I get to do a little next week as well. I truly love baking and cake decorating. Along with photography, embroidering and sewing. I have found these are my favorite hobbies and I always find a way to keep them going.

Today was the day I set up the cake I had been working on since Wednesday. Cake decorating is a process, and one I love. I am so lucky to have friends that ask me to do cakes for them. I am no professional, but they believe in me enough to let me do things like 40th Wedding Anniversary cakes. I have posted a few pictures of the cake, as well as a shirt I did for a dear friends son. It was a good day!! And I even enjoyed the afternoon and evening out with all my boys. Lots of sandbox playing! Boy are they dirty!

Oh and I had to post this of my precious little Logan. He had his first concert on Thursday night. We are so proud of him. He just loves school and his teacher! A BIG THANK YOU to Mrs. Anderson!

Fun Things going on!

This week I have worked really hard on making several adult aprons and many sets of my Lo-B burps for an event my sister-n-law Carisa will be having at the end of April. I am very excited she is letting me send my items. She has her own blog and knits beautiful hats. Check it out A Little Knitting.

On top of all that sewing I have been working on projects for many clients. I can't wait to show off the apron I am embroidering and appliqueing for a client in England, and a lady bug tutu set for a lady here in Manhattan. I will post pictures once the projects are complete.

Other than that I have really enjoyed catching up on other small orders and gearing up to make more items for my stores here in Manhattan. Although, I think I am done this week! I am ready for some relaxing during the boys nap time. I look forward to doing some scrap booking and needle point the rest of the week.

The boys and I have really enjoyed the weather. Spending about every afternoon outside with friends and in the club house! Today is cloudy and cool, and rain is on the way so we probably will stay inside and bake some cookies! I hope everyone is enjoying there day!
